Takasha Lewis, BS, MS, Yoga Teacher, and Artist. She was introduced to herbs and yoga by her mother at an early age. Books like Back to Eden and Richard Hitilman‘s guide to yoga were household treasures. Takasha Studied Philosophy, Pre-Med in undergraduate school, and Nutrition Science with an emphasis on Geriatric Nutrition in Graduate school. Takasha is a licensed skin, hair, and nails professional and was certified at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health’s 200hr -YTT.  She has also completed programs in matwork Pilates at Mindful Movement Collective in Pleasant Hill, Ca as well as Chair Yoga at Yoga Vista. Takasha is a certified Tarot consultant and studied with Katrina Wynn Tarot Consultant and Carolynn Ayer’s Tarot of Becoming.  Additionally Takasha completed a 9 month Herbal Studies Course at Dandelion Center for Herbal Studies under the training of the esteemed herbalist Jane Bothwell. She also trained for 2 years with the wild and enigmatic author, priest, and shaman Martin Prechtel at Bolad’s Kitchen. She studied Peruvian Shamanism with Don Michael Son for 5 years. Takasha has since gone on to initiate in the Afro-Caribean traditions under Yabofe Mambo Marie Carmel and Houngan Hector. She has trained for 15 years now in Caribbean Brujeria and Spirituality with world renowned Puerto Rican Priest and Brujo Houngan Hector Salva. Takasha is also a self-taught artist focusing mainly on acrylic, watercolor, and fiber arts.  Live and recorded classes as well as  consultations are available.
